But I feel sorry for her. She does have to stay away from her family and friends.

- Having worked in Alicante Spain for 3 years I can appreciate that she doesnt want to leave as she has probably become institutionalized after all this time . Airports are like a large family , its like no other place of work. There was a man that lived in Alicante for most of the time I was working there he seemed ok , but its a sad way of life .

I forgot to answer the question , no I wouldnt like to live at an airport. - No. Live next to an aerodrome which builds and test fly military planes. Constant hustle & bustle of check in lounge would drive me completely potty.
