Professor Green Speaks Out About Slapping A Drunk Fan At University Gig

Pro added that his life has become a "domestic hell". Yikes.

Back at the beginning of October, Professor Green found himself at the centre of a gazillion stories after footage emerged of him slapping a drunken 'fan' at a university gig.

A few weeks after the Durham University Welcome Ball incident, Pro Green has FINALLY given his side of the story, and explained JUST WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED.

The 30-year-old explained that his actions were basically just defence against a student who'd had far too many Smirnoff Ices. Seems legit.

Speaking to The Mirror on the MOBO Awards red carpet, Pro said:

"I don't reflect on things like that. If someone abuses you and throws their hand up at your face, then someone says that you hit a fan I'm just like like what fan?

"It happened. I mean, what's happened to rock and roll? I don't understand why it became such a big thing."

It wouldn't be rock and roll without a bit of carnage, obvs.

Millie Mackintosh's hubby also spoke about life as a married man, saying: "My life has become a domestic hell. I've got the dogs back in the house. I've had a new lawn laid. I don't feel that rock and roll [at the moment]. It's a bit boring."

Marital bliss, aye?

He added: "Maybe I'll just slap someone else. I won't by the way, that was a joke."

Erm, ok.

ICYMI, Pro green had a rather EVENTFUL time at Durham Uni, where he thought he'd be performing to just a bunch of students wanting to have a jolly good time.

Instead, one rowdy student thought otherwise, and starting hurling abuse at the rapper as soon as he stepped on stage.

Because NO-ONE INSULTS PRO GREEN, he decided that ignoring the insults wasn't an option, and instead headed over to the student to give him a piece of his mind.

Pro is seen swooping down into the crowd to 'slap' the person who'd clearly had too many WKDs, before standing back up and shouting: "This is what happens when you call me a c***."

He then adds: "Are we going to have a f***ing good time tonight, or what?"

Erm, so we'll never be messing with Pro Green. EVER.

A rep for the venue confirmed that the student was later escorted from the venue, saying: "During Professor Green's live show at Durham University on Friday night, a student verbally abused Green repeatedly and then went to strike him. Green reacted.

"The student was subsequently escorted out from the venue for being too drunk. Green carried on the show to perform his full set."

At least there was no-one shouting abuse at him at the MOBOs!
