MAFS' Selina reveals surprising details about the show's weddings

Just over one year after tying the knot on national television, MAFS’ Selina Chhaur has opened up about what it’s really like getting married at first sight.

SELINA CHHAUR: Obviously, our wedding was shot at night. But what people didn't realize, it was shot at midnight. By the time we sat down it was like 2:00, 2:00 in the morning. I'd been in my dress for like over 12 hours. I was starving. The first thing I had in my tummy was like, am I allowed to say this, champagne.

We got ready at midday, and I don't know why they just made us, there's a lot of waiting around and I don't think people understand. And by the time we got to the wedding, you have to do the whole walking down the aisle a few times. They'll pull us aside and we'll do our separate boxes where they're asking us so how's everything going? How are you feeling? Was he what you expected? yada, yada, yada.

Then we'll go back, and then we'll eat, and then we'll chat some more. And then there was so much that got missed out. I actually had a Zoom chat with my bridesmaids that were meant to be there that never got shown. There's so much that gets like filmed that doesn't get showed. So we actually didn't sleep that night. Our wedding went right until like 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning. So they're long days. So for anyone that wants to apply, just be prepared that they're long, long, long days.
