Arnold Schwarzenegger Hits London On A Boris Bike

Motorists on London’s roads during the morning rush hour today did a double take as none other than The Terminator pulled up next to them at the traffic lights.

Arnie confirmed he’d been cycling around the capital on Twitter, but told us not to worry about the near misses - it’s the cars that should be scared, obvs.

The actor documented his sightseeing-by-bike tour on Snapchat, visiting Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly ‘Square’, Regent’s Street and Leicester Square, before stopping for a rest on a park bench to soak up the weak British sunshine.

Schwarzenegger joined in with comments on Twitter, responding to one driver who apologised for nearly bumping him of the Boris Bike in a Range Rover:

And aware of his awesome strength he asked for local repair shop recommendations too - where the cars could get fixed if/when he hit them.

“In case I do get hit, can you give me a list of bodyshops so I know where to direct the drivers to fix their cars?”

In his video Arnie saluted London Mayor Boris Johnson for his bike-renting system.

Arnie is in London for the promo trail for Terminator Genisys, where he’ll reprise his robot character in an attempt to save the world from Judgement Day.
