Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice Trailer Recreated Using Toys

One of the biggest moments of this year’s Comic-Con was when director Zack Synder unveiled the first footage from upcoming superhero clash ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice’. But you had to be there to see it, as the video has not been made available online.

Set in a rainy Gotham/Metropolis (it’s unconfirmed as yet), the scene features Superman (Henry Cavill) hovering over the Bat symbol, red eyes glowing whilst staring at the Caped Crusader (Ben Affleck) whose eyes shine white, giving a sense of the impending battle between DC’s two biggest stars.

But what about everyone who wasn’t in the San Diego hall? With Warner Bros. removing pirated versions from the Web, YouTube user CheapTheaterFilmCo thought of a clever workaround – recreating it with action figures.

According to those who’ve seen both versions, the toy adaptation is pretty close to perfect. Plus it’s funnier.

The moral of this tale? Never underestimate the dedication of comic book nerds.

Synder also Tweeted the first picture of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman during the Con, while another picture of Ben Affleck – or more specifically his chin – in the Batsuit got fans excited.

‘Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ will be released on 29 April, 2016 with Cavill and Batfleck alongside newbies Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Ray Fisher (Cyborg) and Jeremy Irons as Bruce Wayne’s butler Alfred.
