Batman V Superman: New Photos Reveal The Batmobile

New spy photos from the set of ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ have given us our best look at the new Batmobile so far.

Shot while the Dark Knight’s new ride is parked up between takes, the photos finally reveal what was under the tarpaulin of the first photos Zack Snyder teased earlier this year.

Bats’ new motor looks to be a cross between the rugged Tumbler of the Christopher Nolan era and the sleeker more rocket-like design of the maligned Joel Schumacher films.

Upon closer inspection, the new Batmobile actually seems closest in design to the vehicle Batman will be using in a new video game, ‘Batman: Arkham Knight’, which is coming out June next year.

The car has gull-style doors that open up, giving the car an almost bat-like appearance if viewed from the front. The front and rear wheels seem heavily protected and it looks as though it may have some sort of firing device on the front bonnet.

'Batman v Superman' Set Photos Spark New Character Rumour

‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’, which sees Gotham’s finest team up with Krypton’s last son for the first time ever in a live-action film, is coming to cinemas in May 2016.

The film featuring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Gal Gadot, looks set to be a launchpad for a ‘Justice League’ movie, bringing DC Comics greatest heroes together for an ‘Avengers’ style team-up movie.

Will Wonder Woman’s invisible jet plane make it to the final film? That will be a tricky one to photograph on set we’re guessing.
