Better Call Saul star Kerry Condon has landed a role in a new film, The Banshees of Inisherin, alongside The Batman's Colin Farrell, Deadline reports.

The movie, which comes from Martin McDonagh, will see him team up with his In Bruges cohorts Brendan Gleeson and Farrell once again.

However Condon isn't the odd one out in a team who have worked together before, as she previously worked with McDonagh on the Oscar-winning 2017 crime drama movie Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

The Banshees of Inisherin tells the story of a pair of lifelong friends (Gleeson and Farrell) who live on a remote Irish island and who find themselves at an awkward time in their relationship when one of them no longer wants to be friends. Condon is set to play the sister of Farrell's character.

Known for playing Stacey Ehrmantraut in the Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul, Kerry will be returning for Saul's sixth and final season, which is currently shooting.

There has been a temporary pause on filming while series star Bob Odenkirk recovers following a "small heart attack" on set last month.
