Carrie Fisher Talks The Curse Of Star Wars 7

After Harrison Ford’s incredible plane crash, it looks as though Carrie Fisher thinks there’s a ‘Star Wars VII’ curse. But who is next?

It’s no secret that Harrison Ford’s death-defying plane crash could have killed the 71-year-old ‘Star Wars’ actor. And it was only his incredible piloting skills that saved him. But did you know that Carrie Fisher was also in a car accident just days before?

And she thinks it’s all down to a curse…

During an interview with the Mail on Sunday, original ‘Star Wars’ actor Carrie Fisher revealed she was recently in a small car accident… and she puts it down to a ‘Star Wars VII’ curse.

“What is funny is that last Sunday it was raining hard in LA,” she said. “I was driving to the art store and I got into an accident. It wasn’t that serious and I wasn’t hurt but it’s the first car accident I’ve ever had. I drove home and that’s when the wheel came off my BMW.”

Of course, Hollywood is known for its cursed productions. There’s the Superman curse, the curse of ‘The Omen’ and now it looks as though ‘Star Wars’ may be about to follow suit. But we have to point out – while the production has seen Harrison Ford injured twice, he hasn’t been killed under mysterious circumstances… yet.

“My assistant told me I could have died if the wheel had come off when I was on the freeway,” she added. “Then I was watching the news and saw Harrison had his crash. I’m a bit worried it’s the curse of Star Wars.”

Obviously, Harrison’s plane crash made the news last week as the actor was pulled from the wreckage of his vintage World War II plane. And during production of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’, Ford was also injured by a door on the Millennium Falcon.

But while the original Han Solo is making a full recovery, it looks as though Carrie fears for the rest of her ‘Star Wars’ pals.

“Things happen in threes,” she said. “I’m about to call Mark Hamill to make sure he’s okay. I have a horrid feeling there’s a curse going on here.”

Let’s just hope the curse is lifted before ‘Star Wars VII’ heads to cinemas. After all, we want it to be good, right?
