Check Out The Amazing Leaked Jurassic World Brochure

It looks like any other upscale theme park – well, except for all the genetically-engineered dinosaurs, obviously.

A ‘leaked’ brochure from the set of ‘Jurassic World’ has emerged online, tweeted from an account called @jurassicp2k15, and it’s thrown further tantalising light on the hotly-anticipated reboot.

Complete with thorough corporate sponsorship, which adds an additional edge of authenticity, the pamphlet details all that’s on offer at the lavish park.

Some facilities, like the 18-hole golf course with full catering are pleasingly normal when put side-by-side with attractions like the ‘Mosasaurus Feeding Show’.

There’s a complete map – including a key at the side – of Isla Nublar, showing visitors where the attractions can be found on the island.

Then there’s a list detailing the resident creatures, with the likes of the Dimorphodon, Edmontosaurus, Microceratus and Ankylosaurus joining the T-Rex and Apatosauruses we saw in the first movie.

Notable by its absence on the list is the inimitable velociraptor.

A stark warning begs visitors ‘PLEASE do not tap on the glass, cross barriers, throw anything into the exhibits, make excessive noise, tease or call out to the animals.’

There’s then details of the leisure activities, including the golf, the prehistoric bamboo forest trail, a gyrosphere with an introductory video from talk show host Jimmy Fallon, an underwater observatory and the Cretaceous Cruise, in which you paddle down a river and see 100 species of prehistoric life.

Best of all, however, are the ‘Park Highlights’.

There’s a petting zoo where ‘guests of all ages’ can pet herbivores. So far, so sedate…

But then there’s the T-Rex Kingdom and the Mosasaurus Feeding Show, both of which ‘may be disturbing for small children’.

There’s the creation lab, the jungle trek (‘a wonderful photo op!’), the Aviary, and even ‘The Scrambler’, a ride that’s fun for all the family.

Until the dinosaurs break loose and start the inevitable eating of all the visitors, of course.

Whether this is ‘leaked’ or just another bit of smart viral marketing is up for question, but considering that a fair chunk of the information we’ve gleaned about the movie has come from social networks - often director Colin Trevorrow’s own Twitter account - the latter sounds most likely.

Although, it could also be an elaborate hoax, and if so, we doff our caps to those responsible, who have clearly spared no expense in their fabrication of this branded brochure.

Either way, the hype is fizzing already with just under a year to go until the film’s release.

Starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Nick Robinson, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Judy Greer, it’s due out on June 12, 2015.
