Chris Pratt Excited About Working With Captain America Star

It’s no secret that Marvel has big plans for the two part ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ movies coming 2018 and 2019. These plans may or may not include the Guardians of the Galaxy teaming up with Avengers on screen for an epic smackdown with Thanos, but this has yet to be officially confirmed by Disney or Marvel.

Chris Pratt, who plays the leader of the Guardians, seems like a man who would know but he remained tightlipped on the matter during the ‘Jurassic World’ press tour. We got director Colin Trevorrow to ask his leading man which Avenger he’s most looking forward to working with, and his response was delivered with a very knowing smile.

“I don’t know if I’m going to be working with any of [The Avengers],” Pratt says in the video above at around the 3:44 mark, “That’s an interesting question that’s based on the assumption that I’m going to be working with The Avengers.”

“I guess… well, I’m a big fan of all of them but Chris Evans is a good close friend so I would like to… any time I could be on a film set with him would be cool.”

The two actors who play Star Lord and Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are good pals in real life. Evans starred alongside Pratt’s wife Anna Faris in the 2011 comedy ‘What’s Your Number?’ and they’ve remained chums ever since.

Earlier this year, the two Chris’s went to the Super Bowl together to watch Evans’ beloved Patriots take home the biggest prize in American football. The pair’s wager over the game lead to them both visiting children’s hospitals in full superhero garb.

We can’t wait to see them share the screen together one day, whether or not that’s in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ or not. We’re betting it will be.

‘Jurassic World’ is in cinemas now.
