Chris Pratt Visits Children’s Hospital In Guardians Of The Galaxy Costume

If you thought you couldn’t crush on ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ star Chris Pratt any harder, prepare to be wrong.

On Wednesday, the actor paid a surprise visit to Los Angeles Children’s Hospital in his Peter Quill costume from the movie, where he hung out with patients and let them try on the Star-Lord outfit.

He also spent time with ill child Dylan Prunty. Prunty suffers from a mitochondrial disorder and has been nicknamed “Lego Kid” because he loves the toys so much. Pratt of course voiced the lead character of Emmett in ‘The Lego Movie’ earlier this year.

Someone snapped a photo of the grinning 35-year-old, as he signed something for his young fan while wearing a hospital gown and gloves. Outside the hospital, he talked to fans and took pictures.

In previous interviews, he has talked about wanting to use his fame for something meaningful, adding that he stole his costume from ‘Guardians’ for that very reason.

"If it was a big enough movie to where it would mean something to a kid who’s sick in the hospital for Peter Quill or Star-Lord to come visit them, I’ll do that,” he told Panzer TV.

Pratt will have plenty more opportunities to be charitable, thanks to the success of ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’. A sequel is in development, as is a follow-up to ‘The Lego Movie’.

The hospital Tweeted: “Thanks for making them smile!”

He will also star in ‘Jurassic World’ next year.
