Cinderella Trailer Breaks Disney Viewing Record
The recent trailer for Disney’s live-action ‘Cinderella’ has broken the internet viewing record for Disney, it’s been revealed.
Since its release onto YouTube on 19 November (last Wednesday), the clicks it received within 24 hours of going up smashed all previous Disney numbers, excluding Marvel films.

So far, the US trailer has amassed an impressive 10.7 million views in under six days, with almost 10,000 comments, so has really got people talking.
The weekend saw over 3.5 million views for the footage, adapted from the 1950 animation, which surprised many by its high production value and dazzling look.
Sure, it’s got a whiff of ‘Maleficent’ or, as someone pointed out to me, ‘Stardust’, and there’s every chance Disney could have another big hit on their hands in a few months time.
The movie is directed by Kenneth Branagh and stars ‘Downton Abbey’s’ Lily James as Cinders, with a strong ensemble in support, including Helena Boham Carter as the Fairy Godmother, Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett as the Evil Stepmother, and ‘Game of Thrones’ actor Richard Madden as Prince Charming.
'Cinderella' is out in the UK on 27 March, 2015, with the US getting it two weeks earlier on the 13th.
