Confirmed: Jamie Dornan Has NOT Quit Fifty Shades Sequel

It’s official. Jamie Dornan will return as Christian Grey in the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey' sequel 'Fifty Shades Darker'.

Speculation earlier this week suggested Dornan was quitting the franchise after just one movie, but his representatives have confirmed the Northern Irish star WILL be back for its follow up.

A statement issued to MTV people said the actor is definitely involved with at least one more film.

"Jamie is delighted that the film is breaking box office records worldwide, and whilst the studio has not made any formal announcements about sequels, he is looking forward to making the next film," the statement said.

The rumours, began by Australian gossip site NW, said that Dornan had quit the sequels because his wife Amelia Warner was not comfortable with the raunchy scenes in the films.

This now appears to be total bunkum and the sequels to the hugely successful erotic thriller can move forward without having to replace either of its film’s primary leads.

One person who looks increasingly unlikely to return is director Sam Taylor-Johnson. The British filmmaker has remained tight-lipped on her future on the film series after rumours of on-set clashes with the books author EL James continue to swirl.
