Yahoo Movies First trailer for Scrubs and New Girl stars' new movie Eat Wheaties! lands
The first trailer for new comedy movie Eat Wheaties! has made its debut and the film's premise certainly has us intrigued.
Eat Wheaties!, which is written and directed by Scott Abramovitch, stars Arrested Development actor Tony Hale as Sid Straw, a man who is excited to have been elected as co-chair of the planning committee for his college reunion at the University of Pennsylvania.
He is soon informed that all of the coordination for the event will take place on Facebook, a platform Sid has never ventured to before, so he signs up and gets acquainted with what the online world has to offer.

However, when he stumbles upon a profile for real-life actress Elizabeth Banks, he becomes obsessed with proving to his friends that he used to know the star back in their student days – but nobody believes him.
Sid begins to leave Elizabeth messages on Facebook, reminding her of things that she used to do such as apparently shout "Eat Wheaties!"
Unfortunately, Sid's relentless posts about Elizabeth go viral, blowing up to the point where he is fired from his job, removed from his co-chair role and mocked by those around him for his "obsession".
With his life at rock bottom, Sid must work out who he really is and what makes him happy as he finds himself again.

Eat Wheaties! also stars Scrubs actress Sarah Chalke, New Girl star Lamorne Morris, Orange is the New Black's Danielle Brooks, The Flash actor Robbie Amell and Cobra Kai's Paul Walter Hauser.
Harley Quinn actor Alan Tudyk, 24 actress Elisha Cuthbert and Bad Moms' David Walton also feature.
The movie, which is based on Michael Kun's 2003 novel The Locklear Letters, is due for release in the US on April 30 in theaters and on demand. No UK release date has yet been confirmed, but we have our fingers crossed that it'll be here before too long.
