Frank Grillo Completes His Captain America: Civil War Scenes

Actor Frank Grillo has revealed that his role in the filming of ‘Captain America: Civil War’ has come to an end.

Taking to Instagram, Grillo posted an image of him from the Atlanta set with the quote “I am done with this marrage” over the top.

“I’m out Atlanta. I came I fought I conquered #CROSSBONES #Badass #CAP3 #Wrapped,” he wrote.

It would seem given his short time filming that Grillo’s character Brock Rumlow, aka Crossbone won’t have a massive part to play in the upcoming film being directed by Anthony and Joe Russo.

Numerous pap shots from the set (dressed up like an African shanty town) showed Grillo in full Crossbones costume fighting Chris Evans’ Captain America.

Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Scarlet Johansson (Black Widow), Anthony Mackie (Falcon) and Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) were also spotted during the lengthy location shoot.

'Civil War’ will see Cap and Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man go to war over a proposed superhero registration act the US government is hoping to enforce after an Avengers mission goes catastophically wrong.

Paul Bettany (The Vision), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Don Cheadle (War Machine) Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) and Daniel Bruhl as villain Baron Vemo also feature in the bumper cast.

'Captain America: Civil War’ will be released on 29 April 2016.
