How Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Went 3D (Exclusive)

If you’re expecting shells, nunchucks and er, pizza jumping out of the screen at you in the new ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ movie, you won’t be disappointed.

In this exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette – which you can watch above – director Jonathan Liebesman and his crew of visual effects supremos explain how they made sure Raph, Don, Mike and Leo looked as cool as possible in the new 3D film.

And for those of you gagging to see the reboot, you might also spot some brand-new footage of turtle sensei Splinter and bad guy Shredder fighting it out.

Not only that, but judging by the material in the clip, the flick will spend at least a bit of time on a snowy mountain, which should prove once and for all if turtle shells make the best toboggans.

‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ will hit cinemas on 17 October.
