Yahoo Movies Matt Smith to join in 'mass viewing' of classic 'Doctor Who' episode
Doctor Who fans remaining indoors during the coronavirus outbreak have arranged a 'mass viewing' of one of the show's classic episodes.
The 'Lockdown Doctor Who' event will happen later on tonight, at 7pm UK time, when fans will tune in to Vincent and the Doctor.
It's got some pretty impressive backing so far too, with the Doctor from the episode Matt Smith joining in with live tweets.

Smith will be joined by Karen Gillan, who played Amy Pond in the series, director Richard Curtis, who wrote the screenplay for the episode, and Emma Freud, who script edited it.
Other episode stars Bill Nighy and Tony Curran will also be chipping in, using the hashtag #TheUltimateGinger.

The episode was broadcast in June, 2010, the tenth episode of the fifth series, and finds the Doctor and Amy travelling back in time to meet the artist Vincent van Gogh, played by Curran.
It finds the commune of Auvers-sur-Oise outside Paris, where Van Gogh lived and worked for a time, invaded by an invisible creature, the Krafayis, which only the artist can see.
Fans of the show – and the episode in particular – are being encouraged to hit play at 7pm on either iPlayer, Netflix, Amazon, Google Play or iTunes, and watch along with other fans.
It follows a similar communal watching of the episode Rose, which took place last week, airing 15 years to the day after it was first broadcast (with Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor).
Former showrunner Russell T. Davies got involved with the tweet-a-long with that episode.
With the coronavirus lockdown set to continue, watch for more such communal watching events to spring up to emerge in the coming weeks.
