Jared Leto’s Joker To Be More ‘Comedic’ And ‘Cerebral’ [Rumour]

Over the last few days Jared Leto’s Joker has evolved rather rapidly. Not only has the Oscar-winning actor cut off his luscious locks, but he’s also dyed it blonde too.

And now to accompany this bouffant-related news, a source has allegedly revealed how Leto plans to make his Joker unique.

An insider for Hollywood Life teased, “He wants to make the character completely his own. He knows that this role may be his most difficult ever, but he is confident that he will make his version of the Joker the best.”

The source even went on to declare that Leto’s Joker won’t be a copycat version, while they also teased that it will be more “cerebral” and “comedic” too.

Jared Leto will follow in the cinematic footsteps of Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger, who portrayed the legendary foe in Tim Burton’s ‘Batman’ and Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight’, when he plays the Joker in 2016’s ‘Suicide Squad.’

Leto previously proved with his Academy-Award winning turn in ‘Dallas Buyers Club’ that he isn’t afraid to morph his body to excel in a role, and the Joker will allow him to do that to the nth degree.

And there is huge anticipation surrounding what he will deliver. When it was announced that the Joker would be part of ‘Suicide Squad’ the general consensus was that Leto was the only choice.

We’ll find out if he can live up to this expectation when ‘Suicide Squad’ is released on August 5, 2016.
