Jurassic World's Intriguing New Poster For Comic-Con

A new lo-fi poster for ‘Jurassic World’ has been unveiled in time for Comic-Con.

And eagle-eyed fans might spot a few easter eggs in there. Oh hang on, no, they’re dinosaur eggs.

With a velociraptor perched atop an overturned Jurassic World ranger vehicle, we see the future of the fully functional park in the background – all cranes and plans for expansion.

But then in the foreground, tucked into the passenger seat, is the ominous clutch of eggs which, though dwarfed by the development already in progress, could still have the power to change everything and humble man once again.

It’s a thoughtful piece of work, and just the latest to be unleashed on the web.

Last week – though it’s still not confirmed to be official JW literature – a visitor’s guide was snapped and quickly circulated.

Looking like a regular theme park pamphlet, it boasted all manner of attractions.

There’s the usual stuff – the golf, a gyro-sphere ride – and then dino feeding sessions which are described as being ‘disturbing for small children’.

The wealth of corporate sponsorship on the literature – the likes of Samsung, Coca-Cola, American Airlines and Fed-Ex – also gives a great feeling of corporate security in the project.

Until, of course, as Jeff Goldblum’s Dr Ian Malcolm noted in the first movie, the attractions start eating the tourists.

All you have to do is try and stay calm until next summer.

Starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Nick Robinson, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Judy Greer, and directed by Colin Trevorrow, ‘Jurassic World’ is due out on June 12, 2015.
