Michael Douglas – looking pretty dapper we might add – has now wrapped on Marvel Studios’ long-in-gestation ‘Ant-Man’.

So to celebrate, he dropped a picture on his Facebook page.

But who’s this handsome old devil next to him? Well, that would be Mike Runyard, Douglas’s long-time stunt double.

Veteran stuntman Mike has doubled for Douglas since the pair first met in actioner ‘Black Rain’, 26 years ago.

Since then Runyard has played Douglas in everything from ‘Basic Instinct’ via ‘Falling Down’ to ‘The Game’ and ‘Wonder Boys’ (don’t recall too many stunts in that though).

When he’s not doubling for Douglas, he’s appearing in all manner of other projects, including ‘Iron Man’, ‘Drive’ and recently ‘The Lone Ranger’.

Best of all, though, is that Douglas and Runyard seemingly play golf together too.

Wrapping up, Douglas wrote: “My last days on Ant-Man this weekend. Had a great time, a new experience with all these blue screens!

“These are some photos of myself and Mike Runyard, my stuntman and golfing buddy for the for the last 26 years, including films like Black Rain and The Game.”

Director Peyton Reed has some further work to do on the film, however, before it’s released in July next year, or as it’s also known, ‘Comic-book-blockbuster-movie-ageddon’.

Reed rather sensationally took over the directing reigns from Brit helmsman Edgar Wright earlier this year, despite Wright having developed the project himself for many years.

Along with Douglas, who is playing scientist Hank Pym, on the bill are Paul Rudd, playing Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly, Hayley Atwell, Judy Greer, John Slattery, Michael Pena, Bobby Cannavale and John Slattery.
