Napoleon Dynamite Cast Reunites After 10 Years

It’s been a decade since Napoleon (Jon Heder) danced his heart out in a ‘Vote Pedro’ T-shirt to the enjoyment of indie audiences everywhere. That’s right – 10 flipping years.

So like any good school reunion, it’s only right that the cast came together for a photo to see how they’re all getting on.

That’s exactly what publicist Stephanie Kahan managed to do this week in Los Angeles, gathering Heder, Tina Majorino (Deb), Summer Wheatley (Haylie Duff) and Pedro (Efren Ramirez) for a catch-up snap.

It’s been a rollercoaster few years for the cast, who spawned a thousand catchphrases and grabbed more than £26million at the box office with the story of a nerdy loner at a Midwest high school, a llama and his strange friends. They all parlayed their ‘Dynamite’ success into regular work, though not always in such high profile roles.

Star Heder has featured in the odd big-budget pic (‘Blades Of Glory’) amongst lots of voiceover work in films like ‘Monster House’. Majorino most recently reprised her small-screen role as Mac for the ‘Veronica Mars’ movie. Duff works regularly, but in stuff with titles like ‘Dishdogz’ and ‘Muffin Top: A Love Story’, whilst Ramirez did some episodes of ‘Eastbound & Down’ and is due to work alongside his ‘Napoleon’ castmate Jon Gries (who played Uncle Rico) in ‘Thicker’.

Let’s hope they jacked up the Jamiroquai and remembered the good old days.
