The latest clip for ‘Inside Out’ premiered during the 40th anniversary special for ‘Saturday Night Live’ over the weekend, and it explains exactly what happens to ‘Inside Out’s’ cast of characters during a brain freeze. Watch it below.

Simply delightful, isn’t it? The latest 30-second television spot is filled with new footage for the film, while it also gives us a fresh introduction to the ensemble of characters that are inside Riley’s head.

This ’Inside Out’ spot starts off with footage that originally appeared in the film’s first trailer, while it once again ebbs and flows to the rollicking sound of Aerosmith’s Sweet Emotion.

But then we get to see Riley playing ice-hockey, before we are then formally introduced to Amy Poehler’s Joy, Phyllis Smith’s Sadness, Lewis Black’s Anger, Mindy Kaling’s Disgust, and Bill Hader’s Fear.

However the pinnacle of the clip came when Riley suffered a brain-freeze and we get to see the complete interior of her brain freezing over. A horrifying sensation that we have all felt at one point in our life.

It then rounded off with Riley being forced into a hug by her father, voiced by Kyle MacLachlan, alongside her mother, voiced by Diane Lane, while at the same time a cuddle was being instigated by Joy that Anger clearly didn’t want to be apart of.

All in all, it was another joyous tease for the film, and it once again suggests that ‘Inside Out’ will be a rousing success. We’ll find out if that’s the case when the Peter Docter directed film hits UK cinemas on 24 July, 2015.
