New Jurassic World Superbowl Trailer: 'We’re Safe In Here, Right?'

'Jurassic World' won the battle of the Superbowl trailers, airing yesterday during the big game between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots.

And we’ve got two words for you… ‘raptor taming’.

As rumoured, it appears that Chris Pratt’s leather waistcoat-wearing park ranger is a bit of a dino-whisperer, with a great snapshot here of him getting the man-eaters onside.

It looks like he needs all the help he can get, as we also get an even more revealing look at the newly spawned dinosaur hybrid - the Indominus Rex - that is ‘killing for sport’, and will terrorise the fully-functional park.

Once loose, things get out of hand by the looks of it, with pterosaur creatures plucking up tourists for snacks.

And there’s a great call-back to the first movie in the final frame too, the movie’s kids (Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson) besieged by the new hybrid while trapped in their theme park vehicle – this time around a gyrosphere rather than a Ford Explorer, a la ‘Jurassic Park’.

We get another glimpse of Chris Pratt’s ‘motorcycle raptor gang’ too, as he goes after the new hybrid ‘with everything we got’.

Not ashamed to admit, we punched the air at that point.

The movie, also starring Bryce Dallas Howard, Judy Greer, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy and Irrfan Khan, and directed by Colin Trevorrow, lands on June 12.
