The collection of luxury vehicles, including five Range Rovers, were nabbed from a location in north Germany, where the cars were being stored in a garage prior to being used on the latest Bond movie.

The cars are thought to be worth around £630,000, with many of them having been specifically modified for the new film, titled ‘SPECTRE’.

Whether this will cause any major disruption to the production of the film is unknown, but reacquiring new vehicles that are exactly the same may take some time.

Filming for ‘SPECTRE’, the 24th James Bond film in the franchise, began this week, after Sam Mendes was on hand to reveal the title and his cast at Pinewood Studios on 4 December.

The cast was revealed to include Léa Seydoux, Monica Bellucci and Christoph Waltz, alongside regular Bond Daniel Craig, as well as returning faces Ralph Fiennes, Sam Whishaw and Naomie Harris.

The cars were being kept in storage as they waited to be moved to the Alps next week for filming.

The latest Bond adventure, as revealed by Mendes himself, will film in a variety of locations across the world, which promises to be quite the spectacle indeed.
