Pan Trailer: First Look At Hugh Jackman’s Blackbeard In Peter Pan Origin Story

The dazzling first trailer for director Joe Wright’s Peter Pan origin story ‘Pan’ has landed – and it’s a lush and lavish affair.

Due out next summer, it’s given us a proper glimpse at Hugh Jackman’s dastardly pirate Blackbeard.

Tracing the story of Peter Pan from a London children’s home to the shores of Neverland, the ‘Atonement’ director has assembled an impressive cast.

Garrett Hedlund plays what looks like a pre-bad guy era Captain James Hook, alongside Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily, Amanda Seyfried as Mary, Adeel Akhtar as Mr Smee and Kathy Burke as Mother Barnabas.

Newcomer Levi Miller has landed the plumb role of the young Peter, and looks to have just the right level of scruffy ragamuffin to entrance audiences.

It’s due out in July, 2015.
