Razzies 2022 nominations: Eight Bruce Willis films singled out in special category

Bruce Willis has been singled out by the Razzies for a particularly bad year of movies in 2021. The Golden Raspberries has created a special segment for the Die Hard star highlighting eight of his straight-to-video movies in the Worst Performance by Bruce Willis in a 2021 Movie category.

Netflix's Diana the Musical earned the most nominations however, picking up nine nods in total from the spoof Hollywood awards show that 'celebrates' the worst movies of the year.

Based on the life of Princess Diana, Diana is a musical with music and lyrics by David Bryan and Joe DiPietro, and a book by DiPietro. It played on Broadway in 2021. A filmed performance was released by Netflix in October last year.

The Razzies explained that it has expanded its purview to streaming movies in 2022, reflecting its legitimate cousins such as the Oscars and Baftas in order to include "the excruciating musicals, thrill-free thriller rip-offs, a nearly 2 hour product placement flick, and more Bruce Willis than any starving viewer could stomach."

Six-time Oscar nominee Amy Adams has also been singled out by the Razzies, picking up two nominations for Worst Actress and Worst Supporting Actress for The Woman In The Window and Dear Evan Hansen respectively.

This year’s “Winners” will be unveiled on the eve of the Oscars on Saturday, 26 March.
