At last… a candidate that we can all get behind.

‘Sons of Anarchy’ and ‘Hellboy’ don Ron Perlman has, via his Facebook page, announced his candidacy for the 2020 presidential election.

Posting the announcement, and with a hand over his heart, he added: “My slogan will be, ‘Make America Great Again, Again’ so… hold onto your hats!”

We can only hope that he’s serious.

At the time of publishing, it’s been shared nearly 90,000 times, and liked over 366,000 times… and rightly so.

Though one of his 1.2 million Facebook followers did offer one message of concern, pointing out: “I saw quite a few seasons of what you can do as President. Should I be scared?”

Indeed, his tenure as the head of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original – or SAMCRO) in the FX TV series – wasn’t without incident.

Presumably, ‘Hellboy 3’ would be his first act as leader of the free world.
