Anchorman 2 moves action to New York
Previously, the Channel 4 news team were big fish in the small pond of San Diego – which Ron Burgundy famously believed to mean 'a whale's vagina', rather than the more accurate 'Saint Diego'.

But now it seems the big smoke has finally beckoned Burgundy.
“San Diego is too close to Ron's heart to go away, but we feel that New York City is the holy grail for all newsmen,” McKay revealed in an interview with Empire.
It's thought that part of the plot revolves around the struggle for the team to adapt to the pressures of the 24-hour rolling news cycle.
McKay also confirmed that 'Bridesmaids' star Kristen Wiig will indeed be playing the love interest to Channel 4's dim weatherman Brick Tamland.
But he added that she may not be all that she seems.
“Brick's so far gone that you can't have a relationship with him,” he said. “It takes a special someone to get a rope snare around his heart. She is dangerous!”
The original crew from the first film are returning for roles, including Paul Rudd, David Koechner, Steve Carrell and Christina Applegate.
It also recently emerged that Terence Stamp was being sought to play a Rupert Murdoch-esque media mogul for the sequel, while 'X-Men's James Marsden is on board to play Ron Burgundy's new nemesis.
It's due out on December 20.
