Bradley Cooper Looks Unrecognisable As He Gains 40 Pounds And Grows Bushy Beard

Bradley Cooper looked almost unrecognisable as he was spotted out and about yesterday after gaining 40 pounds for his role in upcoming movie American Sniper.

Bradley was snapped leaving the Tom Ford store in Beverly Hills on Thursday, flaunting his buff physique, attempting to keep his presence on the down low by wearing a cap and sunglasses.

The actor was also sporting a rather bushy beard.

Cooper's latest appearance is for the upcoming real-life drama, directed by Clint Eastwood, in which he plays Navy SEAL Chris Kyle.

In an interview with E! Online, the actor's co-star Eric Close said that Bradley has been working hard to gain weight for the role.

"He put on like 40 pounds," he said, adding: "He's really been working hard. He looks great. He's really taken on this character…He really takes this story personally and wants to do an honorable job for Chris' memory and for his family."
