Writer hired to pen screenplay by Adi Shankar

Southern has some action experience having penned the script for a tale about a semi-retired hitman called ‘Hoof Harrington’s Greatest Hits’.

A wish list of faces wanted for the film includes Sigourney Weaver, Linda Hamilton, Cynthia Rothrock, Carrie Anne Moss, Michelle Rodriguez, Gina Carano and Summer Glau and other actresses associated within the action genre.

‘The Expendables 2’ has been a huge hit at the box office and a female version of the film could see Shankar’s company, which has previously backed films such as ‘Machine Gun Preacher’, raking in the money.

However, no castings have yet been made even though Shankar and co have stepped up to fully finance the film.
