The first pictures of Jamie Foxx as new villain Electro in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ have been leaked online.

Foxx was snapped on-set in Time Square, New York, shrouded in an LED-lit black hoodie and sporting some impressively scaly electric blue skin underneath. It’s very, very creepy.

Foxx stars in the web-slinging sequel as Max Dillon, a.k.a. Electro - a bad guy who gains the ability to control electricity after being struck by lightning whilst working on a power line. In the comics Electro can also manipulate electronic devises, and can shoot lightning arcs from his finger tips. Very Emperor Palpatine.

These first pics of Jamie as the high voltage villain are bound to divide some fans, as Foxx’s new look is more Mr. Freeze than the flamboyant star-faced yellow and green character of the comics.
