New Jurassic Park movie due in 2014

Universal Pictures' 'Jurassic Park 4' looks set to appear on screens in June next year.

Steven Spielberg  and Frank Marshall will be returning to their roles as producers for the fourth instalment of the dinosaur franchise. but the film has no named director as yet. However it has been revealed that the writers of 'Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes', Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa, will be handling the script.

 


The new addition to the lucrative series has been in pre-production for over four years and it's been 12 years since 'Jurassic Park 3', directed by Joe Johnston.

The news comes days after Steven Spielberg, whose 'Lincoln' has just gained 12 Oscar nominations, revealed that he won't be directing the forthcoming 'Robopocalypse' project after all.

The new reptilian film will be filmed in 3D. This follows the re-release in theatres this summer of the original 'Jurassic Park' in a new 3D version.
