Page clueless about Nativity 2

Joanna Page has revealed she didn't know what to expect when she signed up for new film Nativity 2: Danger In The Manger. The mum-to-be plays the heavily pregnant wife of David Tennant's schoolteacher character in the festive movie, which was shot in an improvised style with no script. Joanna confessed: "I didn't have a clue. I met Debbie (Isitt, director), we had a cup of tea, she sort of eased me in gently, and then I turned up for the first day and sort of didn't know what I was doing, what we were filming. "She wouldn't tell me the plot, story, anything at all, so that was it then, we just started making it up." Joanna - who is expecting her first child with her husband, former Emmerdale actor James Thornton - also said she's not sure whether the baby will follow in its parents' performing footsteps. "I was thinking the other day, I said to someone, 'When it comes out, how do you know what it wants to do?' Do you basically have to go, if it's a girl, all the dance classes and everything like that, if it's a boy, all the sports? "Do you wait to see if they like something or do you basically just have to have everything covered and then see what they like?" :: Nativity 2: Danger In The Manger is out on November 23.
