Stallone's nephew slams actor for son's death

Facebook post claims Stallone 'doesn't care' what happened to Sage

Sylvester Stallone's nephew has written a furious tirade aimed at his uncle blaming him for the death of his son Sage.

Edd Filiti, who is the son of Stallone's half sister Toni Ann, took to his Facebook page to vent his anger, suggesting that Stallone and his wife Jennifer Flavin 'don't care' about the 36-year-old actor's death.

He also criticises Stallone for failing to return a recent call from his son wishing him a happy birthday.

“What did he do wrong, say happy birthday? Neither you [Flavin] or he could return a phone call, which is all he wanted, his father.

“I know you don't care what happened, but you'll care when you're squirming under the burning magnifying glass of public opinion. You people make me f***ing sick.

“Jennifer Flavin, you won. You tore this family apart and got your trophy, Congrats! Like you told my family, 'I'm Sly's family now, he doesn't [need] you anymore.' Lets see how much he needs you after this.”

The post has since been removed, but it follows an emotional statement from the 66-year-old actor that his son's memory be left in peace.

“When a parent loses a child there is no greater pain. Therefore I am imploring people to respect my talented son's memory and feel compassion for his loving mother Sasha,” he said.

“This agonising loss will be felt for the rest of our lives. Sage was our first child and the centre of our universe and I am humbly begging for all to have my son's memory and soul left in peace.”

It's thought that it could take a further two months before the cause of death is known.

Sage Stallone was found dead at his home in Studio City, Los Angeles, last Friday.
