Star Wars Stars Spotted In London With Episode VII News Imminent

Harrison Ford and Mark HamillHarrison Ford and Mark Hamill

'Star Wars VII' is due to begin filming in May and it looks as though the original cast members have begun to gather in London.

Already causing a great disturbance in the Force, the 'Star Wars' sequels are due to begin filming any time now. And while there's still no official word on who will be returning to the galaxy far, far away, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill are already in London. No prizes for guessing why they're here…

Obviously due on set at Pinewood Studios for the upcoming 'Star Wars: Episode VII' it looks as though Han, Luke and Leia are back… but does this mean a big announcement is coming?

Mark Hamill

Spotted out and about with fellow 'Star Wars' alumni, Peter Serafinowicz, it's easy to see why this image has caused such a stir amongst 'Star Wars' fans. Confirming that Skywalker himself is in London ahead of the May filming date, we're treated to this awesome image of Mark Hamill sporting some designer stubble - an indication of his 'Star Wars VII' look?

But while Mark Hamill hasn't been particularly vocal about his presence in London, there are others who don't really mind shouting it from the rooftops…

Carrie Fisher

Rumoured to have flown into the UK last week, Carrie was reportedly spotted with her dog Gary… and has since taken to Twitter to tease her adoring fans.

So my do dog Gary has been spotted in London, but apparently without me. Who has he been seeing? Let me know if you have any clues.

Obviously, Carrie has been rather vocal about her involvement in 'Episode VII', confirming her appearance (and then backtracking) fairly early on. But it looks as though she might not have to keep quiet for much longer…

Harrison Ford

After seemingly confirming his role in 'Star Wars VII', Harrison has been tight-lipped about his involvement. But it looks as though everyone's favourite smuggler has made the twelve-parsec journey to London… and was spotted a few days ago outside the Hakkasan restaurant.

Of course, he remained as jolly as ever. But while he presumably wasn't very chatty, his presence seems to confirm that something big is going on in the galaxy far, far away.

And these aren't the only 'Star Wars' stars to hint that something big is coming…

Peter Mayhew and Billy Dee Williams

Chewbacca actor Peter Mayhew raised plenty of eyebrows lately when he cancelled a number of public appearances due to 'filming commitments'. And it certainly looks as though he'll be clambering back into the walking carpet for 'Star Wars VII'.

But while Billy Dee Williams has been rather vocal about Disney not getting touch, I can't help thinking that might be a clever ploy from Lando Calrissian. Dropping out of the US TV show 'Dancing with the Stars', Williams claimed it was due to back problems… But could it be that he had a slightly bigger film project on the horizon?

[Boba Fett involved in future Star Wars project?]

It certainly looks as though the original actors are gearing up for something huge. But does this mean we can expect some big 'Star Wars' news in the days to come?

Let's not forget that May the 4th - often referred to as 'Star Wars' day - is just around the corner… and this could be the perfect opportunity for Disney and Lucasfilm to make a big announcement. But will we get our first glimpse at the cast of 'Star Wars: Episode VII'? The Force is certainly strong with this one.
