Taken 2 studio sends out Father’s Day cards

20th Century Fox has sent out Father’s Day cards for the impending release of ‘Taken 2’.

The film sees Liam Neeson return as retired CIA agent Bryan Mills, who in the original showed off his dedication as a father by rescuing his kidnapped daughter from sex traffickers.

“I will look for you, I will find you,” reads the outside of the card, “and I will wish you a Happy Father’s Day,” it continues on the inside.

It riffs on the best quotes from the original action thriller, taken from a scene in which Neeson’s character learns of his daughter’s kidnapping and makes a more violent promise to her captors than that featured on the card.

‘Taken 2’ sees the father of one of the original’s kidnappers swear revenge on Bryan, taking him and his wife (Famke Janssen) hostage. To escape Bryan has no choice but to enlist the help of his daughter Kim (Maggie Grace).

‘Taken 2’ is set for release in the UK on 5 October.
