Twilight star Rathbone gets odd tattoo

Jackson Rathbone loves one particular condiment just a bit too much

While pearls of eastern wisdom usually provide ample material for celebrity tattoos, 'Twilight's Jackson Rathbone has gone for something a little more off-piste.

During an appearance on 'The Wendy Williams' show in the US, the 27-year-old revealed a full-size inking of a Heinz Tomato Ketchup bottle on his calf.

The star, who plays Jasper Hale in the now-concluded vampire franchise, said that he got the tatt simply because he's a huge fan of the iconic table sauce.

“I hate ketchup,” he joked at first, before adding, “No, no, I love ketchup. I got a lot of flack for it growing up from my family.

“My dad would always say 'Do you want a little hamburger with that ketchup?' I was like 'Dad I hate that joke'.”

He is, of course, not the only celebrity to get themselves an unusual tattoo.

'Jackass' star Steve-O got a picture of himself tattooed across his whole back, while Tom Arnold got ex-wife Roseanne Barr's face inked on his chest.

Meanwhile, Johnny Depp famously had his 'Winona Forever' inscription, dedicated to his girlfriend of the time Winona Ryder, changed to 'Wino Forever' after they split.
