See The Original Ghostbusters Cast Reunited

The original cast of ‘Ghostbusters’ have reunited for Entertainment Weekly’s Reunion Issue on the 30th anniversary of the film’s release.

Of course Harold Ramis, who passed away earlier this year is absent, as is Rick Moranis who has all but retired from showbiz bar the occasional country music album release, but to see three of the original ‘Busters together with Sigourney Weaver is a thrill for fans of the horror comedy franchise.

Annie Potts, who played the paranormal investigators’ secretary Janine, also features in the magazine’s feature as does director Ivan Reitman.

Other cast reunions featured in the magazine include ‘Mean Girls’ and ‘The Fabulous Baker Boys’, Monty Python, and ‘Napoleon Dynamite’ but the ‘Ghostbusters’ one is the holy grail of Hollywood cast homecomings.

Bill Murray has often been seen as the one who refused to be a part of ‘Ghostbusters 3’, forcing the producers to go down the all-female reboot route, but his involvement here gives us hope that Peter Venkman could still make a cameo.
