Is Shia LaBeouf putting on another performance? According to sources, the 28-year-old actor was arrested at the Broadway musical Cabaret on Thursday night.

LaBeouf was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of criminal trespassing.

Police say the Transformers actor was being disruptive during the first act of the Tony-nominated play, which stars Michelle Williams and Alan Cumming. Law enforcement officials then handcuffed LaBeouf during intermission and escorted him out of Studio 54.

Tony nominee Benj Pasek tweeted that he saw LaBeouf in tears outside of the venue in New York as he spoke with law enforcement officials.

LaBeouf, who recently starred in Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac, made headlines this year for his obscure “performance art” in Berlin, where he displayed a paper bag over his head with the words “I’m Not Famous Anymore” written across it. The red carpet incident was accompanied by an art installation in L.A.

It’s unclear whether the Cabaret incident was part of his artistic endeavors.
