Shia LaBeouf Slates Transformers In Bizarre Rap Video

Cultural journeyman Shia LaBeouf has now displayed his prowess in the realm of freestyle battle rapping.

Following his travails in the art world – culminating recently in a bizarre motivational video – he was captured over the weekend spitting some lyrics, off the cuff.

- LaBeouf says he was raped during his LA art show
- Shia LaBeouf seeking treatment for alcoholism

Topless, and completing the look with his rat’s tail hair-do, the actor was at the centre of a group of folk hanging on his next rhyming couplet.

During an expletive-filled minute or so, he also takes a swipe at his former paymasters.

“Nah, none of that… Transformers is the dummy rap,” he says. “I’m on some new sh*t.”

Let’s hope Michael Bay takes it well.

The actor, who has been confounding fans with his off-the-wall behaviour for the past couple of years, recently found himself having ‘gone viral’ with a video called ’#INTRODUCTIONS’, which he made in collaboration with Central St Martins art school in London.

It saw him in front of a green screen performing various spoken-word pieces introducing students’ graduation show work.

In one, he bursts into the strange – but strangely wonderful – motivational speech, produced by student Joshua Parker, imploring viewers to 'just do it’.

Of course, with it being on green screen, it was quickly taken and lampooned by others – though that was likely the intention.

It ends with LaBeouf making meditative 'ohhhm’ sounds in front of a block of butter.
