Smoking Daniel Radcliffe’s Bizarre New Role

No, this isn’t a feverish dream. That really is ‘Harry Potter’ star Daniel Radcliffe puffing away on a cigarette and walking a DOZEN dogs.

The former child star hasn’t finally lost it though. It’s all in aid of a mysterious new film role.

He was snapped with the dogs – lashed to his midriff – in Bryant Park in New York with dozens of fans and or/extras watching on.

There are rumours that he’s filming a part for ‘Trainwreck’ – Judd Apatow’s latest comedy, though reps for ‘Trainwreck’ declined to comment on casting.

Maybe it’s just a very strange un-credited cameo.

Apatow himself tweeted: “Dan to cameo in Trainwreck? Not true! He was just walking his dogs.”

This could actually confirm that he’s in it and in the past 24 hours the film has just turned up on Radcliffe’s IMDB CV.

Not much is known about the comedy, with plot details under wraps. We know that Tilda Swinton and Brie Larson are involved though.

Radcliffe has been a busy boy since ‘Potter’ finished, and has several upcoming projects for his fans to look forward to.

There’s a starring role as Igor alongside James McAvoy in ‘Frankenstein’, which saw him - shock horror - change his hair (see below).

He also has crime drama ‘Tokyo Vice’ and, umm, bridge-building drama ‘Brooklyn Bridge’ on his to-do list.
