SPECTRE: First Look At Daniel Craig In New James Bond Film

The first photos from the new James Bond film ‘SPECTRE' have arrived.

Daniel Craig and Rory Kinnear were snapped riding a river boat along the Thames as they shot the first scenes earlier today, looking every inch the dashing secret service agents they are.

The scene saw their characters James Bond and Bill Tanner riding a speedboat alongside the iconic MI6 building in Vauxhall, with not a single life jacket in sight.

A second camera boat, emblazoned with an Olympic logo, rode alongside carrying the crew including director Sam Mendes.

The MI6 building played a key role in previous film ‘Skyfall’ when it was the target of a bomb attack by Javier Bardem’s Silva. The secret intelligence service went underground after being targeted, setting up a temporary HQ, but these photos suggest we could see Bond, M, Moneypenny, and Q back in their rightful home for ‘SPECTRE’.

Daniel Craig has had a bittersweet relationship with the capital’s river during his tenure as Bond. The actor was derided (perhaps unfairly) by the press for wearing a life jacket when he was unveiled as the new 007 back in 2005.

He was seen as an unconventional choice to play Bond back then, but his performances in ‘Casino Royale’, ‘Quantum of Solace’ and ‘Skyfall’ have since silenced his critics, with ‘Skyfall’ becoming the most successful Bond film ever at the box office.

'SPECTRE', which also stars Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, Lea Seydoux, and Ralph Fiennes, is coming to cinemas in November 2015.
