SPECTRE: First Trailer For New Bond Film Revealed

The first trailer for ‘SPECTRE’, the fourth Daniel Craig James Bond film, has been released. Check it out above.

The trailer is surprisingly action free, instead teasing us about the plot and showcasing some beautiful visuals.

A few of the most important moments seemed to be:

Bond is shown a damaged family photo recovered from his old house ‘Skyfall’. One child is clearly him, but who is the other?

A funeral scene. Who’s been killed?

Bond has found a ring with the SPECTRE logo. Who is and isn’t a member of the crime organisation will surely play a big part in the plot.

The return of Mr. White, played by Jesper Christensen, who you might remember from ‘Casino Royale’ and ‘Quantum of Solace’. He was a member of Quantum, the secret terror organisation behind the villainy in those films, and escaped near the beginning of ‘Solace’. Does Quantum become SPECTRE? And how does he link the first, second and fourth Bond film?

Christoph Waltz is the main villain judging by this very sinister introduction - but is he Blofeld?

‘SPECTRE’ sees ‘Skyfall’ helmer Sam Mendes once again directing, with Naomie Harris (Moneypenny), Ralph Fiennes (M) and Ben Whishaw (Q) ] also reprising their roles from the record-breaking 2012 film.

Joining the cast are Bond Girls Monica Bellucci and Léa Seydoux, with Dave Bautista and (possibly) Christoph Waltz the villains. ‘Sherlock’ star Andrew Scott plays a member of the British government.

The official plot synopsis is:

“A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.”

‘SPECTRE’ is coming to cinemas – including the IMAX, in November, 2015.
