Steven Seagal Won’t Do Expendables, Doesn’t Like The People

Don’t expect to see Steven Seagal in an ‘Expendables’ movie any time soon – the action legend has said that he doesn’t get on with some of those involved.

Though he didn’t specify with whom he has beef, he told the Big Issue that a much-rumoured cameo isn’t very likely.

“I just (don’t) like some of the people involved. Life is too short to work with funny people,” he said.

“There’s good and bad people everywhere and a lot of people in ‘The Expendables’ I like too. So it’s okay.”

He later said that he’d love to work with Jason Statham and Jet-Li in the future, so that perhaps rules them out.

Cinemablend suggests that the issue could be with either the man with the plan himself, Sylvester Stallone, or the film’s producer Avi Lerner, though that is, of course, speculation.

However, Stallone and Seagal have butted heads in the past.

Last year, Sly admitted to an altercation between the pair.

“Steven Seagal said that he, ‘Didn’t associate with that kind of element’ - meaning me. So I slammed him up against a wall,” said Stallone.

”At that time, our testosterone was running full bore. He was full of his height and I was full of… Myself. But we made up. He can be very abstract.”

But beef aside, the action don did add that his bad-ass 'ship’s cook' Casey Ryback could return, as he’s plotting a sequel to ‘Under Siege 2’.

“I’m trying to do Under Siege 3… I’m trying to do some martial arts films in China. I have a lot of different scripts and ideas,” he said.

Asked whether it would likely head into production, he added ‘I hope so’, saying that he’s place the action in Russia.

Ladles crossed he can make it happen…
