The Program Debut Trailer: First Look At Stephen Frear’s Lance Armstrong Biopic

Lance Armstrong continues to be a controversial figure as the fallout from his years of cheating at the top of professional cycling keeps rolling on.

The disgraced sportsman hit the headlines just today comparing his treatment by the public to that of Lord Voldemort in the ‘Harry Potter’ books, so the release of the first trailer for ‘The Program’ seems incredibly timely. Watch it in full above.

Chris O’Dowd plays David Walsh, the Irish sports journalist who uncovered the doping program and wrote the 2012 expose ‘Seven Deadly Sins: My Pursuit of Lance Armstrong’ on which the film is based.

On top of the first trailer the stylish debut poster has also been revealed below.
