Toy Story Hotel Being Opened By Disney

A ‘Toy Story’ themed hotel is set to open in Shanghai, China.

The Disney Insider blog has revealed the concept art behind various details for the new Shanghai Disney Resort, which is set to open in the very near future.

And while the likes of the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, a birds-eye view of Shanghai Disney resort, Disneytown – Broadway Plaza, and Disneytown –Lake Area all proved to be rather captivating it was the confirmation that the resort would include a ‘Toy Story’ Hotel that truly got Disney and Pixar fans excited.

According to the aforementioned publication, “The resort’s ‘Toy Story’ Hotel will transport guests to a world inspired by the toys from the Disney Pixar series of ‘Toy Story’ animated films.”

At the moment more detailed revelations about the hotel are still at a minimum, but the above picture seems to suggest that a humongous iteration of Pixar’s Luxo Ball, which first appeared in the studio’s ‘Luxo, Jr.’ short film, will prominently feature outside the hotel.

Unfortunately if it doesn’t feature a ginormous Rex constantly pounding the halls trying to be scary, as well as an Etch-a-sketch waiting to draw-duel and Slinky-the-dog perennially falling down a flight of stairs then I’m not interested.

Who am I kidding! It obviously looks like the greatest hotel to have ever graced the world with it presence. In fact I’m already looking into getting a permanent room there so that I can live out my days believing that I’m Andy.
