Toy Story That Time Forgot Poster Revealed

Disney Pixar’s latest animation, ‘Toy Story That Time Forgot’, is due out this Christmas, so to celebrate, they’ve released a brand new poster for the TV short film that first airs in the US on 2 December.

After the success of ‘Toy Story of Terror’ last Halloween, Pixar have gone ahead with another 30-minute TV special that reunites fans with their favourite characters such as Woody, Jessie, Rex, and Buzz.

The synopsis reads:

During a post-Christmas play date, the “Toy Story” gang find themselves in uncharted territory when the coolest set of action figures ever turn out to be dangerously delusional. It’s all up to Trixie, the triceratops, if the gang hopes to return to Bonnie’s room in this Toy Story That Time Forgot.

This story focuses on Trixie (voiced by the wonderful Kristen Schaal), offering her centre stage in a bid for a happy ending. Early images indicate these “delusional” characters are dinosaurs, with the title seemingly a nod to Don Bluth’s ‘The Land Before Time’.

Most of the film trilogy’s original, surviving cast return here, with the recognisable voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Timothy Dalton, Wallace Shaw, and Joan Cusack back in their familiar roles.

It’s a cracking poster, which also reveals a few new faces, too. It’s always a pleasure to see new toys introduced into the ‘Toy Story’ universe, and as with the case of Trixie (who first appeared in ‘Toy Story 3’), proves that new additions can become just as iconic as the older, more established ones.

Expect ‘Toy Story That Time Forgot’ in the US on 2 December, and for it to hit UK shores shortly after.
