Vin Diesel Teases ‘New York Set’ Fast & Furious 8

‘Fast & Furious 7′ hits cinemas this Friday and looks set be an almighty hit, so attention is already turning to the inevitable eighth film in the franchise.

Star Vin Diesel used his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live to stoke the rumour fires about the next film revealing Kurt Russell’s character will play a major role in the next film.

He stated, “I’ll tell you something about Kurt Russell, he was… you know I always think of these films, multiple pictures in advance, I think of them as trilogies. So Kurt Russell came into this movie but he was really hired because of a story that follows this and takes place in New York. It’s some cool stuff that not everybody knows.”

The ‘Riddick’ star also revealed that for the ‘Fast & Furious’ films, he HAS to have a smooth pate.

"[Being bald] it’s kind of a requirement, it’s in the contract. It’s a sea of bald heads. We were thinking of calling this the Bronx baldies," he shared on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

‘Fast and Furious 7′ (in cinemas this week) features a cavalcade of chrome domes including Vin, The Rock, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris who all appear with just millimetres of follicles between them.

The film marks the last appearance of Paul Walker, 40, in the franchise, after his tragic death in November 2013. During his appearance on the show, Vin Diesel spoke about his love for the star and his tribute to the star, as he named his newdaughter Pauline.

‘Fast & Furious 7’ will be released in cinemas this Friday, 3 April.
