Whoopi Goldberg has dished on who her dream cast would be for the recently confirmed movie follow-up Sister Act 3.

In the first Sister Act flick, which was released in 1992, Goldberg’s character, Deloris Van Cartier, went into hiding as a nun at a convent after witnessing a murder. However, her cover is almost blown when she inadvertently ends up helping the convent choir become popular.

The second film was released 29 years ago in 1999.

Now the actress, 66, is set to step back into her habit once again thanks to Disney+ and she knows exactly who she wants on board: Keke Palmer, Lizzo and Nicki Minaj.

“I’m gonna ask Keke to come. You know, I want everybody to come in. I want Lizzo to come,” Whoopi shared, according to Variety.

She also said she’d like “the girl with the chest”, referencing Minaj. Adding: “I want as many people who want to have some fun because I really, desperately need to have some fun.”

Goldberg confirmed that the film is definitely happening when reunited with Sister Act co-star Kathy Najimy on The View earlier this week.

Najimy was on the panel show to discuss the recently released Hocus Pocus 2, which also took 29 years to see the light of day after the first one.

Goldberg credited the success of Hocus Pocus with getting a new Sister Act greenlit.

She explained: “It is happening. We’re getting a script at the end of the month. It took a little while, but it’s happening. You all helped that happen, I think, because they brought Hocus Pocus back. They finally said, ‘Well, we might as well put those nuns back out there and see if they have any juice.’”
