Will Ferrell Gets Ridiculous Makeover From Kevin Hart in First 'Get Hard' Trailer (Exclusive)

We gave you a peek at Will Ferrell's braids, but now you can see his big-screen makeover in action for the first time via the trailer for Get Hard, seen here exclusively on Yahoo Movies.

In the comedy, Ferrell plays mogul James King, who has been nailed for fraud and is desperate to transform himself before entering the rough cells of San Quentin. Enter Kevin Hart, who plays King’s car washer Darnell Lewis. King mistakes Lewis for a real ex-con. With the promise of a big payday, Lewis is happy to keep up the ruse, training King for the big house by blasting him with pepper spray and running drills on his tennis court —converted into a faux prison yard.

Part of King’s jailhouse education involves dressing the part — at least trying to — as we see at the 1:53-mark in the new footage of the film.

A photo of the 47-year-old comedy veteran offers a better look at Ferrell's baggy getup. He’s in camo pants with red-checkered boxers, a yellow animal print sweatshirt, and bright blue high tops — not exactly what you'd expect of a prison tough guy.

Get Hard treads similar ground as such ’80s comedies as Trading Places with Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd, and Brewster's Millions with Richard Pryor and John Candy, upending racial stereotypes by showing how absurd they are.

More things to look forward to in Get Hard: A simulated prison riot involving a strobe light and a monkey. Alison Brie… in lingerie. Rapper T.I. And plenty more ill conceived mischief from Ferrell and Hart.

Get Hard opens in theaters on March 27.
